Splint Operation
Klida Splint Operation is composed by manifold layers of cast operations and specially nonwoven fabrics. It is characterized by better viscosity, fast drying time, high rigidness after dying and light weight. Due to better biocompatibility, polyurethane is widely used in medical places. Animal study and acute and chronic toxicity test have proved that medical polyurethane was non-toxic and no-induced distortion, no local irritation and no allergic reaction.

High rigidness, Light weight
as polyurethane material is made up by soft segment and stiff segment which will increase the cohesion and rigidness, tested rigidness of splint operation is 20 times higher than traditional plaster cast, which can make sure splint operation has reliable fixing function. Fixing consumption is less and with light weight, weight of splint operation is 1/5 of plaster cast, thickness is 1/3 of it. It is beneficial for two points, firstly it will not burden too much to affected area and it is good for blood circulation and healing of wounds. Secondly, when plaster is hardened, it is still a bit fragile and it will be easier to get rupture and limb displacement if too many burdens brought to it. But cast operation is made from polyurethane material which contains soft segment and hard segment; it will reduce the re-damage possibilities exerted by external force and play the role of fixing.

Splint operation is made with high quality raw yarn and unique mesh weaving technique, which can make sure it has better permeability and good for skin permeability.
Fast hardening
Hardening process of cast operation is very fast and it only takes 4 to 10 min to start hardening and can bear weight after 25min in contrast with 24 hours hardening for plaster cast.
Excellent X-ray radiolucency
as splint operation is very excellent on the permeability of radiation, the effect of X-ray is very clear to be seen so it is helpful to the doctors to learn the healing of limb during the medical treatment. The permeability of radiation of plaster cast is very bad and sometimes healing can only be seen after fixing is removed. Convenient and flexible to be operated, good plasticity
Splint operation is very simple to be operated, take it out and dip it into the water for 5 -10 seconds and use the elastic cast or normal gauze cast to winding it. Remark: if splint operation was not dipped into the water but was kept onto air for natural hardening or hardened by spraying water on its surface, strength of whose will be lowered.

How to use
Wear the gloves and select suitable specification as required
Use cotton tallow packing or cotton-padded packing on the fixing place as the backing.
Unpack it and take cast operation out, put the cast into water for 2-3 seconds and squeeze it for 2-3 times, make sure the extra water is squeezed out.
Wind it into spiral with moderate tightness as required, 2-6 layers on supporting place and 2-4 layers on non-supporting place.
Shape it as required and 3-5 min for hardening. It can reach the functional rigid after 20min.
Demolish it by using electric plaster saw.
Attentions
Operator must wear rubber glove in order to prevent polyurethane sticking together with the skin. Use it immediately once it is unpacked and it is not allowed to unpack several ones at the same time. When it is going to torn down, electric plaster saw should be used. Pay attention to the package and make sure it is sealed well during the transportation so as to prevent hardness on the way.
